e got an email about a little Rottie mix pup at N. Central shelter with a broken foot and puncture wounds. So we hopped in the car and went to pick up KC. Turns out that the break was an old one - it just never healed properly - but the bite wounds were definitely new. The shelter vet did clean her foot and our vet gave her more advanced care and KC will be good as new in no time. Her back left leg is the one that was injured and she will always have a limp but it doesn't stop her from wrestling with her housemates and running around the yard. This pup walked into her foster home with her tail wagging and it just hasn't stopped. She is amazingly good natured and a joy to have around. KC will be spayed prior to adoption.
