Sex: male - Birthdate: 8/06 - Declawed: no eau was on his last day at the Humane Society. They called us and asked if we could take him. Of course we said yes. He's a little doll. His tail is a short one (not sure if he was born that way or an injury caused it) and he is just gorgeous! He's been neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV (he did test positive for FIV; negative for feline leukemia). FYI: cats with FIV can live a LONG, healthy life with good care (you can read more about FIV-positive cats at the Best Friends website). He's also microchipped and his vaccinations are up-to-date. Please don't overlook this special boy just because of this disease. Many cats with FIV can live well into their teens, with good care. They also can live with other cats in the household, as long as they are not fighters. The only way this disease can be transmitted is through a "deep" bite wound.
He is a happy boy and a very lucky one and we hope that his luck will get even better when he finds his forever home and person! If you have any questions, please contact Sharon at sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com.
